	On December 15, 1978, the State Council issued its approval document [Guofa 1978 No. 256] for the Report on Strengthening the Works of Conservation and Domestication of Giant Pandas, and the report on establishing the Nanping-Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve.
1979	In 1979, Sichuan Revolutionary Committee issued the document [Chuangefa 1979 No. 36] for setting up the Administrative Office of Sichuan Nanping-Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve.
1982	In 1982, the State Council issued its approval notification [Guofa 1982 No. 136] for the Ministry of Construction's Report: Review and Approval of the First Group of State-Protected Places of Scenic Interest, that listed Nanping-Jiuzhaigou as the Place of Scenic Interest.
1983	In 1983, the Administrative Office of the Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve of Sichuan Nanping County was renamed as the Administrative Division of Sichuan Nanping-Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve.
1984	In 1984, the State Council issued the document [Guofa 1984 No. 136] to list Jiuzhaigou into the first group of state-level

Water of Jiuzhaigou sings endlessly all the year round, trees of Jiuzhaigou dance day and night, birds of Jiuzhaigou are vhriping out melodies from dawn to dusk.  The biggest festivals of Jiuzhaigou is the Spring Festivals. A few days before, women begin to prepare food and clothes for it. Every family start to clean their house, hang on auspicious paintings and pictures of patron saints, wishing to each other the best of a happy and propitious new year. On the first and second days of the Festival, the household activity is mainly the family-reunion dinner. On the third day, there are public activities, like the dragon and lion dances.  Tibetans of Jiuzhaigou believe in the Benbo-Sec Reli gion which was introduced to Aba Prefecture where Jiuzhaigon is located, from Tibet in the 2nd century B. C. II was integrated with primitive local wizardry into the Benbo Sec and became dominant in the 6ih century. In the 7ih century, the Tibetan Buddhism was introduced, and won in Furious conflicts against the Benbo. Although Buddhism became prevalent, the Benbo survives and develops into a special sec of Ti- etan Buddhism, due to its unique religious and culture features.
